Revealing Practice: Learning from Occupational Therapy Across Latin America

Revealing Practice: Learning from Occupational Therapy Across Latin America is a pedagogical resource exploring the richness of Latin American occupational therapy during the past 68 years since the region's first training program was established. This book, edited by scholars from Brazil, Colombia, and the United Kingdom with professional affiliations spanning the Global South and North, intends to bring the epistemologies, wisdom, and practices of Latin American occupational therapies to English-speaking audiences through a collaborative effort bringing together over forty contributors from more than fifteen countries. The book encourages readers to reconsider their work by providing case studies and reflection points, contributing to global and local occupational therapy education, research, and practice.  It promises to inform global health practices, reconcile historical tensions between occupational therapy and occupational science, and capture the humane experiences shaping human occupations.
